Question USB-C to DisplayPort Converter

Hi, I have an MSI PS63 8RD (Nvidia 1050TI) which doesn't have a DP port or a USB-C Thunderbolt port but only a USB 3.1 Gen1 type C (with DisplayFusion)
I've just bought a Dell U2417H monitor with a Manhattan SuperSpeed+ USB-C 3.1 to DisplayPort Converter.

My PC does recongize sometimes the monitor but isn't displaying anything.

I searched the laptop you have, and it does have a usb-c port, and it also has HDMI, since you are gonna use 60hz monitor, you dont care about fps, an HDMI cable should do just fine.

Thanks, but I have only one HDMI port and two monitors. I wanted to plug the first monitor via USB-c and daisy chain the second monitor.
I've solved the problem by buying a docking station.
