[SOLVED] USB C to Displayport

i was trying to run my monitor at 1080p 144hz, however my laptop only has usb c and hdmi, while my monitor only supports 144hz for dvi and display port, so i tried looking around to see if i could find an adapter for it, and was wondering if this might work? https://www.amazon.com/DisplayPort-Highwings-Thunderbolt-Compatible-More-6ft/dp/B07HCDWLJB/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

You can try it not 100% sure it will work but you could just buy an hdmi to dvi or display port which will 100% work but not sure about 144hz you would have to check what version of hdmi your laptop has

also i just checked, my hdmi port is 2.0
