Question USB-C to Displayport ??

Hi guys i need your help I just bought a Alienware AW2720HFA and i want to use it as a external display for my Lenovo Legion 5(rtx 3060). Since there is no DisplayPort output in my laptop, which cable should i use to take full advantage of features like Nvidia G-Sync ?? Is USB-C to DP cable way to go ?

these are the outputs that i got in my laptop:
USB 3.2 Gen. 1 - 4 szt.
USB Typu-C (z Thunderbolt™ 4) - 2 szt.
HDMI 2.1 - 1 szt.

I know on the pro model usb c to DP G-sync will work. No sure on the regular legion 5 some laptops similar to that g-sync only works on the Hdmi out.
