[SOLVED] USB-C to Thunderbolt2 cable to extend display

Hi
Have a 2013 iMac which I assume supports Targeted Display mode.

I also have a new HP Omen XS 15 laptop with a USB-C (Thunderbolt 3?) output.

Since there is so much incompatibility when to comes to Apples and non-Apple products, can anyone recommend a USB-C to Thunderbolt conversion cable that will work for me?

I don't see any Omen XS 15. There's an Omen X 15 and an Omen X 2S 15, which one do you have?

You'd use a thunderbolt 2 cable, plus a thunderbolt 3 to thunderbolt 2 adapter, e.g. https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT207266
