USB Cables Not Working Correctly

So today I got on a game that I use a PS4 ds4 controller with. I don’t know what happened but my headset and controller both stoped working. I have tried restarting my pc and obviously unplugging and replugging in my usb cables. My keyboard and mouse use usb cables and they still work perfectly. I just got a pc a month ago so I really don’t know what I am doing.

Does your mouse or KB work in the ports the controller & headset are connected to?

You may have an issue where the controller is feeding power back to the port, and modern USB ports should switch themselves off if they detect that.

Download USBDeview, and clean out the old usb drivers there.
Its a very useful tool and you can work out how to use it, its simple.
