Hello,
I have an RPI 3 (I think its a 3, bought it years ago i don't remember), I use it to run a collection of crypto miners. Through a series of unfortunate events, I allowed a single bead of sweat to drip from my forehead onto the CPU side of the board. From this point on, none of the USB ports work, but the rest of the unit is operating without issue.
Could someone point out which exact components and circuitry on this board operate to support the USB controller? I gave it a quick scrub with a brush and alcohol, and the USB ports worked momentarily before crapping out again. I'd like to give the specific areas a deeper cleaning and see if it resolves the issue. Thanks
