Can you please state your full systems specs inclusive of your OS? Are you sure you've downloaded the latest drivers and updated to the latest BIOS found off your motherboard manufacturer's support site?

Reinstalling your chipset drivers and your motherboard's USB3.0 host controller drivers should take care of the issue.
