I plugged a USB and all the files were corrupted, with aleatory dates creation and so on.
To recover I went first onto the USB, properties, tools, ckeck, but the diagnosis got stuck just at the end, and after two hours I just cancelled it. It was stuck, so I directly rebooted the pc.

Now I went into cmd -> chkdsk g: /f /r, and it is on "bad links in lost chain at cluster
> ********* corrected", It started on 800.000 and now is by 1.150.000, sometimes says "lost chain cross-linked at cluster orphan truncated"

Is this normal? How long should it take? It's a 8gb pen.

Edit: So it finished, I was asked to recover the broken chains into files, said, yes, then it seems not to be enough space, so it didn't. Half of the storage seems to be occupied but no files inside.
