USB Device with exclamation mark

Hello,
I've been trying to connect a USB Drive and it doesnt show up.
When i go to Device Manager it shows a device with the name of my device with a yellow exclamation mark.
This is happening with every storage device that i connect to my computer

Yes, if i connect mouses or keyboards to the USB Port they all work fine, but if connect any kind of external storage to it, it doesn't recognize

Its a laptop: Asus X555LD

If its still in warranty, you should take it back.

So in Device Manager, the Universal Serial Bus Devices, when you click on them, say they are not working?

im trying to run /sfc scannow command to see if there's any corrupt system files

Then you're usb ports are working fine according to Device Manager.

How many different drives have you tried - what make and model?

Is there a function with the laptop where you can turn off the use of usb drives?

I already have tried to turn off all the USB devices and Turn On again and it dont work

You should contact Asus. Have you read through the laptop manual?

I have restarted my computer and the Boot Menu detects the USB Device

Hey there, RubenBruce1, have you verified that the external storage devices your're connecting to your laptop are functioning properly on another system/desktop/laptop in your home/office?

Which G3 do you own? The Ultimate? Does it have hardware encryption enabled?

Lastly how many external storage devices have you tried? Please state their make and models.
