So this is a weird one. I went to turn my PC on only to notice that is wasn't booting. Turns out my GPU had somehow come loose from the PCI port. Upon booting my computer I came across an interesting issue. My USB devices disconnect but only when I specifically try to access them. Example: My USB Microphone and Hard Drive are both functioning. But say I open my sound properties, all my USB devices briefly disconnect and reconnect. Including mouse and keyboard.
Specs:
GPU: R9290 4GB
CPU: AMD FX8350
Mobo:Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3
8gb DDR3 RAM
Windows 10 64 bit

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there Centuri89,

I would agree with CountMike. It may be a good idea to go to your MOBO's website and update your USB 3.0 drivers.
In case the issue persists, you can attach the devices to the ports on the back of the computer case. These are attached directly to the MOBO. That way, you will see if there is something wrong with the front panel.

I tried that and it did nothing. I have narrowed it down to an issue with my USB 3.0 ports though. I switched the port my mic was using and everything seems to work again. Still very weird....thanks for the input though.
