Been having a problem with my computer for a while. Mouse will constantly disconnect every 2 or so minutes and then occasionally both mouse and keyboard will disconnect at the same time and won't power back on (mouse will attempt to power back on but will keep cutting off). Not sure what to do.
Here's what I've tried so far:
- Reinstalling OS (Win 8.1)
- Changing which USB ports the peripherals are plugged into
- Isolating each USB device (seeing if one was tripping the rest)
- Updated BIOS
- Used an PCI USB Card and put all USB devices on there (still persisted)
- Swapped mice
- Tinkering with USB settings (Selective suspending, power saving settings, etc.)
I'm kinda dying inside thinking that my motherboard is faulty, looking for other causes to my problem, please help lol.
EDIT: I have heaps of "Base System Device" Drivers that are uninstalled or don't have drivers?
Also I have a TP-Link Wi-FI USB Adapter that never seems to disconnect, only my mouse and keyboard seem to.
