Hello, I'm having an issue with my motherboard. For some reasons the USB ports on it will randomly turn off. It's very inconvenient because it will often do this while I'm playing games. This issue wasn't present on my previous motherboard, it just started after I installed a new one.

The motherboard is the MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON MAX WIFI.

The only devices I have plugged into the USB ports are a Corsair K55 keyboard and a Corsair ST100 headset stand, which has a Corsair Harpoon wireless dongle plugged into it, and a Corsair Void Pro dongle plugged into it.

I have updated the motherboard bios, and also reinstalled icue, as all my peripherals are corsair, but the problem still persists. Could the motherboard be faulty? I bought it recently so I still have time to return it. Although it would be more convenient to find a fix for this.

Full specs:
-Ryzen 5 2600
-RX 570 8GB
-MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON MAX WIFI
-EVGA 600W GD

I would really like to know how to fix this issue, thank you.

Solution
make sure you have the latest USB drivers directly from MSI support page.
also make sure your USB settings in your Power Plan are set for performance not power saving.
