Hi,

I've got Asus X555L Computer, and I have one big problem - While it's possible to see usb devices such and disk on key or external hard drives via the BIOS (and boot from them) it's not possible to see the same drives via Windows!

It's very annoying, and couldn't find the solution online.
Using Windows 7 64-bit. That's the second time that I'm installing windows again and it's another install and the problem occured at both situations.

Thank you very much.

Hey there, roeijac!

I'd recommend you to check your computer manufacturer's website and make sure you have updated the USB drivers for your model from there. They should be listed under support/downloads once you've selected your PC model and OS version.
Another thing that might help is resetting BIOS using one of the methods listed here (if the rig is under warranty, you should do the reset from the BIOS settings): http://www.wikihow.com/Reset-Your-BIOS

Hope this helps you. Keep me posted! :)
