My os is a windows 7 x64 bit. these sounds only occur when I'm playing a game. I checked the drivers for the controller(360 wired), the mouse, and keyboard and they are up to date. I tried unplugging each one but the sounds still persist during gameplay. I'm thinking it's this unknown device that keeps popping up. I tried to disable it, I even uninstalled it but it keeps coming back. this is what my device manager looks like atm:

any help or tips would be appreciated. I know there are two mouses on there but I only have one plugged it. I only have three devices plugged in physically.

a good temporary answer however I noticed it does cause some slow down on certain games like MK X and wwe 2k15. for reference, I'm using a asus motherboard.

I disabled the unknown device and it seems to have stopped the slowdowns in mk x so that might have done the trick

edit: I turned the sounds back on and disabling the unknown device did not work as it still makes those sounds during gameplay but the slow down during that time was decreased.

Do you have a ps/2 mouse? If it does disable all your usb ports, you still have something to enable the usbs again.

Have you looked in your motherboard manual for the option to disable usb 3.0? Most motherboards have it.
