USB Does Not Work

Ok so I recently bought parts for the new computer I built. When I turned on the PC for the first time the monitor never displayed anything and the USB ports did not detect my mouse or keyboard. PLEASE HELP!

No worry, stuff like this happens to all new builders, just some mistakes you likely made. Did the fans turn on at all? Did the computer make any noise? If the fans turned on you know electricity was properly passed to them.

Yes the fans all turned on and the cpu fan also did.
