USB DRIVE connection to different computers.

When i plug in my usb drive to a different computer my files are not there. However, when i plug it in my computer they are shown. How can i fix this so my files can be viewed in a different computer? please help.

Are the files hidden? If so one computer may have view hidden files/folders turned on.

What OS are the computers running? What file system (e.g. FAT32, NTFS, exFAT, HFS, EXT4) is the drive running?

Back up any files You want to keep that are on that USB drive.

Try a different USB drive.

I have had this happen to me, and it usually means my USB drive is either going bad or needs to be reformatted.
