Hi. I tried everything from set boot to legacy, to putting USB first in boot priority, to disabling secure boot, to formatting and creating the media tool again, nothing. It actually appeared in the boot menu the first time I tried, but after restarting the pc it never appeared again.

Solution
what make/model Motherboard do you have?

some boards have an option called Boot Override that you can use to boot off a USB device once, without needing to change boot order.
Some motherbaords change boot method on restart,
If USB is formatted as UEFI and MB set up as legacy, it won't see USB as legacy has no idea what UEFI is.
If USB drive is formatted as Legacy, and mb starts as UEFI, it may not see it (UEFI boot method is backwards compatable so it may see it).

Are you sure USB is bootable?
