USB Drive "No Media"

Hey, I bought a new USB drive the other day, and attempted to reformat it to a different file system (I needed it to be in exFAT). For some reason, this completely tanked the drive and now when I try to access it (or even just format it again), it says "Please insert a drive." Of course, I have inserted a drive so this makes no sense. When I look at it in disk management (with admin rights obviously) there is no way to make a partition or even to reformat it. It simply says, "No Media." I have searched around on the internet and have been unable to find a solution. None of the third party tools I have tried have worked for me either. This is a brand new flash drive so I don't think that it has broken suddenly. Any help is appreciated.

You can try to reformat with another computer. But if you just bought it, I would return it for a different model.
