Question USB drive write protected

So if I try to move anything to my sandisk 8 GB USB, it shows a write protected error.
I tried the clean command, but it shows a I/O error.
The drive has nothing inside. It is completely empty.
I used easeus to turn off the write protection but it didn't work and didn't show any error.
There is no switch on the USB drive.
I connected it to my phone to try and format it but the format was stuck on 20%. (USB is in NTFS.)

Windows and USB are in GPT (UEFI) mode.

That's most usual first symptom of dead USB dingle.
