USB DSL share?

Hi every one.
My friend just got DSL from pacbell. but is the modem is connecting to USB port only(I believe the network is builtin the modem?), How can he share it with other pc. can you buy a DSL Router that have usb port to share his dsl?

I think the other option is not good either, the other modem is internal PCI card modem! it only have one RJ-11 port for the phone cord.
I think pacbell or SBC doesn't like us to share it at all.

I've never used it myself, but I hear Wingate plays nicely with USB networking.

Maybe just a hub away?
