Question Usb files got corrupted and I would like to recover the files

Last year I was using my Usb and this happened to some of my files. Is there any way I will be able to recover and use them again. I need this files for an important project, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Why o why was this flash drive the only repository of this "important project " ?

I haven't used any because I don't know what ones to use

What was the last thing you did before this happened?

Photorec might be a good place to start.

thank you I will try to use it that tool now. I have only tried to extract the tool with a tool called 7-zip

You should preferably clone the USB drive to an image file and then run data recovery software against the image. This will preserve the current state of the file system.
