What are those 2x5 female connectors for motherboard USB and Firewire connections on motherboards called?
Where can I buy them and the crimps to insert the wires?

They are called headers on the motherboard and you would want to search for USB and Firewire expansion brackets.

No, you misunderstand, I am not looking for the headers (on the motherboard). I am looking for the black 2x5 connectors and the crimps for the wires. I am making new USB ports and am trying to find new crimps and connectors for new Firewire/USB wires.

Let me put it another way: I am looking for the plug you put onto the header, but without any wires in it, and with the crimp hooks to put my own wires into.
