USB Flash drive appears in Computer but its not really there!!!

Windows 7 64, Gigabyte 1156, i5-750, Intel SSD Primary, SATA2 Secondary/Storage:

Weird bug guys. There was a USB stick inserted into the front I/O panel of my PC, but it's not there anymore. Someone removed it.
The drive still appears in Computer, I can still copy files to it, from it, I can cut files from it.

How can this be possible!??! I wish I new where the drive was too, cause it's missing.

I think my computer absorbed it!!!

No joke.

I know this sounds like I have obviously left a stick in the rear I/O panel, but I swear I haven't!

Is this even possible?
