Hi,
I am importing a bulk of USB pen drives from China and need some help getting my head around exactly how the memory works.
I got stitched up a while back with some MP3 players with fake memory sizes that corrupted all the MP3's added to it, so I am being extra cautious this time.
It seems that the USB Pen drives they make can be set to different sizes.
I have done a lot of googling and found an article regarding SD memory that said by changing the block sizes you can free up (or reduce) available memory size.
I tried to find the downside of this but it seemed to say that smaller block sizes actually increased write speed.
Is this the same with USB flash drives? I have done a lot of searching but all I could find was some dubious software that said it increased drive size without any explanation of how.
I don't want to sell them if they will corrupt peoples files. Can anyone give me any relevant info or tips to help me out?
