USB Flash Drive ERROR

Hi, I have an HP flash drive (16GB) that used to work fine but now all of a sudden, it doesn't work when I plug it in. The error I get is

"E:\ is not accessible

Incorrect function"


Do you professionals know why this happens and how I can fix it? I have important documents on there and its extremely frustrating that I haven't found a solution yet.

Pen drives have a limited lifespan and must be replaced when they start producing errors.

For that reason, you should never use them to store important files without having those files backed up somewhere else.
