Hi,

I've received this flash drive as a present:

http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/296867253/Leather_holder_with_Omega_ring_USB.html

It needed to be initialized in order for me to format it using Disk Management but when I try to i get an I/O error. I tried this multiple times on my PC running 32 bit Vista and I still get the error.
I had problems with the flash drive on other computers as well(other flash drives work fine).
I haven't been able to figure out what company makes it so I cannot ask them for support.
Can anyone help me?

Try to use rear USB jack (not on front of your case), try to format on vista (right click on computer-> manage->disk management)
or try to use gparted (use some live linux cd ex. fedora or ubuntu).
