USB game controller not working

Hi, I purchased a generic USB game controller from the internet and there's a problem with the analogue sticks / pads. The right stick seems to be pointing slightly down so that it is pressing down all the time. Also, the left analogue stick won't go into the corners on calibration.

I think you may have answered your own question. There's not much to be done about mechanical defects. Try finding a used or cheap XBOX 360 controller or something similar. They work well and are not terribly expensive.

What gamepad are you talking about?
Most generic pads will try to emulate a xbox 360 controller. Most cheap ones fail to do this accuratly however.
If you can return it and get an official x360 wired controller for about 20$ new.

Thanks for the replies. Yh I tried calibrating it and had no luck. I'm looking to get an official controller.
