my motherboard asrock b85m pro3 have audio codec ALC662 my sound quality in headset is pretty straight low quality bass.
but when im using my headset (rakk guinna) local brand in my cellphone and trying with other computer with ALC 887 audio codec the bass and sound are great.
so if i buy another headset with usb interface will it solve my problem having a ALC662 audio codec?
thanks in advance and sorry for my english

If the USB headset that you buy has it's own audio drivers in it (like Corsair Void Pro RGB USB which i'm using with my Skylake build, full specs with pics in my sig) then yes, you can get better sound quality out of your MoBo. But if the new USB headset doesn't have audio drivers in it, then you won't get better audio. In this case, you need to buy a dedicated sound card.

But before buying a new hardware, go and change the audio profile within the audio drivers of your MoBo. If you're using Realtek HD Audio Manager then changing equalizer settings can give better quality bass.
