usb has lots of random files i cant delete

I went into my usb and it had all these random files with random names and dates, some from 2085 and 1987! this was a new usb and I only saved 3 things to it. I didn't ejct properly a couple of times, does that affect performance? also, my usb has only 4 GB of space, and the random files' storage well exeedes the 4 GB storage. I have tried to delete the random files but thy don't disappear. please help!

Take a hammer to it or pull it apart with pliers to destroy the chips - - - bin it - - - buy a new one.
