Hi guys,
I'm trying to set up a FreeNAS server from an old IBM Thinkcentre and I'm having trouble getting the bios to boot from USB.
My primary boot order has
1:CDROM
2:HDD0
3:Network Boot
4:FDD0
5: (Empty)
6: (Empty)
And below is a menu that looks like this:
Devices Excluded from Boot Order
USB HDD
USB FDD
ETC.
ETC.
No matter what I do I can't get USB HDD to reside in the primary boot order. I've tried highlighting it and pressing +, ^, 1, etc. I've looked at the BIOS help and it doesn't offer much to remedy this problem. How do you put USB HDD in the primary boot order and allow it to boot from USB? Am I using the wrong keys?I feel I'm being quite moronic, but I can't get the darn thing to boot from USB!!
Thanks for any future advice!
