Hi I have an A4Tech g501 USB headset, I noticed when I start my computer my mouse is not working (no lights, no cursor). My headset is working and it has lights. Both are plugged at the back of my computer.
I had to plug/unplug my headset for my mouse to start working. I do this everytime I start my computer which is annoying. I've tried plugging both headset & mouse together at the back of my computer and I've tried plugging one of them at the front. Still my mouse doesn't work at startup. The headset is interfering with my mouse

Solution
I know you mentioned that they are both USB in the title but consider the following:

Are both devices wireless?
If so, then you are running into wireless interference between the two receivers.

Is it possible you plug the headset into a different PC to test and see if it follows?

You could possibly also be experiencing a driver IRQ conflict between the two devices. It's uncommon for this sort of thing to happen anymore in the newer versions of Windows (thank goodness).

Hi thank you for the reply, they are not wireless. I plugged my mouse and headset in my laptop and they're both working fine. At first I thought my mouse was dying so I tested it, it still works. My headset is new, I bought it last week. It's only in my PC that there's an issue. Is there a way I can stop any driver IRQ conflicts?
