USB headset not detected

So I just got the hyperX cloud 2 headset, and I plugged it in the USB port, after a few seconds it shows up in the playback and recording tab. Now it does not show up in those tabs. i have spent the past 6 hours trying to find a solution.

Try uninstalling the drivers, rebooting, and then reinstalling.

This is one of the reasons to stay away from USB type headsets.

Where can I find the drivers? I checked the website for this headset and it says that there are no drivers

Try uninstalling the drivers first, from the device manager. The device seems to use generic audio output drivers (BAD idea... one more check for the "reasons not to buy" list I keep), so you can only try uninstalling and hoping the device is properly recognized after that.

I can't seem to find any drivers relating to the headset in the device manager. It seems as if I didn't even plug it in (which I did)

Test them on another computer. If the same issue happens there, send the headphones back and get a real set of headphones.
