USB headset popping/crackling when cable is moved.

I am not sure if this is the true cause, but it has seemed to do so when I test this; when I move my usb wire for my headset it starts to pop in my right ear, sitting still or moving the wire back seems to stop it. I have tried switching/cleaning usb ports but am at my end of pc audio knowledge. The headset I am using is the Sentey GS-4731, on WIN 7, all drivers up to date. Any troubleshooting methods or information is appreciated, thanks.

Is there anything I can do about this? If not I can live with the sound, it is quite dull and only happens randomly when there is no sound playing, just curious if I could fix it in any way. Thanks.

depends on your skill with a soldering iron.

if its liked most headphone that develpop a crackle when you move the cord, it will slowly get worse
