Question Usb headset's mic not working correctly

Hey guys,i just bought a usb headset and hooked it up to my phone via otg cable.the problem is that the mic sounds really choppy.it works great when I connect it to my pc.what do you think I could do?I have a Huawei mate pro 10 and the headset is zeroground keiji 2400

That headset is advertised more of a desktop connecting headset and from my research it's got virtual 7.1 surround and is not meant to be paired with a smart phone(let alone using an OTG converter/cable). Might want to try another pair of headsets with your phone and see if that changes your experience on your smart phone.
