USB hub controller problem

I'm having an odd problem where games don't recognize my controller when I run it through a USB hub. I have a Logitech g310 which I run in XInput mode (makes windows think its a 360 controller). Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

Is the computer itself recognizing the controller? Or is it just the games? If the computer doesn't recognize it, it could be a driver issue.

It's because the hub is acting as an emulator, i think, for the other usb devices attached to it. what specific model of usb hub do you have? are you sure it's not just a power only device (no communication)

The computer is recognizing the controller and I have a Belkin 4-port powered USB hub.
