Usb hub has exceeded its power limit

Hello,
I have had this problem time and again - I follow the "bubble" instructions and continue to get the same message no matter how many times I do it. There is one port that doesn't give me the msg but then doesn't give me anything! The usb device is not recognized at all on this one. HELP!

Need some more details. When did this happen? Desktop or Laptop? Have you tried to reset the BIOS? This happen when you plug in a certain device?

Your USB controller chip or other electronics could be fried.
