I am looking for a usb hub that is cheap and good. I only need it to output usb 3.0 or usb 3.1
Do you have any suggestions for what I should look for in a usb hub?

My suggestion, in any case, is to purchase an independently powered USB hub.

If you only need usb then a non powered hub is ok.
Something like this:

But, if you are always plugging in usb devices, a larger powered hub with on/off switches can be useful.
They can also serve as a phone charger.

Thank you for your suggestion. I have 2 devices, one requires 5v 500ma and one that requires 5v 120ma.
Should I use a powered or non powered usb hub?

I have a 10gbps usb c port. Should I use a use a usb hub and connect in this order: usb c 10gbps port>usb c to usb to usb 3.0>usb hub>devices or this order: usb 3.0 Port>usb hub>devices or this order: usb 3.0 port>usb 3.0 to usb c adapter> usb hub> devices
