Hi,
I have a problem, my usb works perfectly fine when I use it in my laptop but when I try to store files from another computer, it says that it's write protected. Help please! BTW, my flashdrive is Kingston 16GB. Thanks!

Yes. I've formatted it several times but the result is still the same. Still doesn't copy files from other computer except for my laptop.

Hi,
I've tried formatting it with NTFS but when I'm about to open it, it says that it still needs formatting and formats with FAT32 because NTFS doesn't work.

Have you tried a low-level format method? The process escapes me at the moment, but I had this problem, and formatting it via the command line with the appropriate flag to accomplish the low-level format helped (IIRC)

Oh, I haven't tried that one. How do I do that?

Take a look here: http://www.maketecheasier.com/remove-write-protection-error-from-usb-drives/2009/12/16

At item number 3, that should work.

Thanks! I'll try this one. :)
