USB Issue

Hi Guys,

I'm having some woes with my USB controllers,what happnes is that the devices does not get detected when I plugged them in . I have tracked down the issue to "USB2 Enhanced Host Controller" item in the device manger. Once I disables this the USB is working as fine. Drivers seems to be uptodate as well . Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

in device manager uninstall USB drivers. then reinstall the chipset from the manufacturer's website.

I did so couple of times but no luck .

What board do you have?

It's a Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L

What about updating the BIOS?

It's already on F10 version and Resetted the CMOS by removing the battery as well. I had remobed the front panel USBs all this time and I just reconnected it and those ports seems to be working fine
