USB keeps disabling

Hey guys I have a curious problem. Every time I plug in a new USB device, be it a mouse, keyboard, flash drive, camera, etc. it always disables all the other USB devices that I already have plugged into my computer, so that I have to re-plug everything back in. All my drivers are up to date, and I have plenty of USB ports. What would cause this?

might be a os or chipset problem..........
