USB keyboard and mouse non Functioning after booting in windows 7 64bit

My mouse won't work in the usb ports anymore and my touch pad won't work either...what could be wrong?

The touch pad still isn't working but the mouse is working again. I have no idea what happen. I'm just not taking my mouse out of the port! I can't afford to get anything fixed on this thing. Thanks
