USB Mass storage device not showing under Computer window, why?

In my lenovo laptop two of my old pen drives are working well. But when ever I am inserting any new pen drive (that I have not previously inserted) is not detecting but pendrive light is glowing and under device manager window USB, I can see the USB Mass storage device. First I have thought of adim right issue but it is not so as I have activated a new Admin account from cmd > net user administrator /active:yes.

Maybe the USB needs to reformatted. Use any software you would to delete partitions on a hdd and it will work for a USB too. Might be worth a shot. Worked for me in the past with micro sd that had the same issue

Hey AniChatt. You could try also reinstalling or updating your USB drivers as well. Have you tried to assign those USB flash drives a new letter via Disk Management to see if they'll show up in Windows Explorer?
