Question USB mic works for a few mins, but then stops working.

OS: Ubuntu 18.04

Audio setup:
Behringer Xm8500 Dynamic Cardioid Microphone
Behringer UM2 Audio Interface


So I got and set up the audio stuff today, and I can hear myself in the discord mic test. However, after a few mins of working, it just stops receiving my voice and I have to unplug my XLR cable from the microphone and plug it in again. I do not have another device to test this on currently, so I'm stuck on Ubuntu.

First check the settings there can be mistake, if it is clear then there can be some technical issues as well.
