I have a Bee tel CX100 with conexant chip in it. It is a USB ADSL Modem. I have currently connected to my desktop and bridged a wi-fi router (D-Link DIR300) to connect my laptop.

I understand that USB output of modem cannot be connected to the router's Ethernet port.

I understand that all USB modems are actually LAN modems with an adapter to convert LAN to USB. I was wondering if I could connect some wires from certain points inside the modem to get an additional Ethernet output.
