Usb mouse problem

Hi everyone, just built my first pc and everything is working well except for my gaming mouse which for some reason keeps stopping every 1 second. My other normal mouse works fine. I've tried installing windows 8 but it's the exact same thing, what could be the culprit? The gaming mouse works fine on my other pc's that came with stock OS.

Have you installed the USB3 drivers for your board as well as the drivers provided from your mouse manufacturer?

Yes, although the mouse cd didn't have drivers, only came with a utility that on this pc crashes. But the microsoft drivers work fine on other pc's.

Did you see if changing mouse speed or sensitivity settings, or turnings off some of items like pointers, trails, etc, may help?
