USB Mouse stops working

After non use of the PC the USB mouse stops working and sometimes the wired mouse also stops. After restart both work until non use again. How do I fix?

If you are using windows 7 or higher go

Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Power Options\Edit Plan Settings

Under USB settings, USB selective suspend setting check disabled, hit apply and OK.

If the doesn't work maybe the mouse is faulty.
