Hey Guys,
i am using my core i-3 pc with a intel dh67cl mobo.
as it started all the things worked pretty well.
but after almost 1.5 yrs of my purchase the i m having difficulty with my USB ports for the 1sr time as it never happened before.

The Problem:
1. The ports detect some devices but others are just waste of time.
2. right now i m using a seagate 1tb external hard disk on my 3.0 port. a sandisk cruzerblade 16gb pen drive but when i plug in my Transcend RDP8 card reader it doesnt recognise it. on the front panel i m having 2 ports both detects the sandisk p.d but not the transcend card reader.
3. in the device manager i get this kind of thing

http://postimg.org/image/ld4hpxjx1/

now if u watch it u'll get to see that there are some of my card readers services present while others are not there. as there is micro sd present but not the SD/SDHC.

HELP ME OUT PLEASE..... ASAP!!

4. It never detects a SDHC card even i cant connect the sony cybershot DSC-W730 as well.

EVERYTHING WORKED LIKE A CHARM BEFORE. Had no problem earlier.

It could be insufficient power from the USB ports to drive all your USB devices at the same time, especially when one of those devices is a portable hard drive.

Buy a mains-powered USB hub and plug your Passport in to that instead. Everything else should then be okay plugged in to the normal USB ports, or you can plug them all in to the hub (depending on how many ports the hub has) but the biggest draw on power will be the Passport so that at least needs to be plugged in to the hub.
