[SOLVED] USB pen drive not showing up to update BIOS on ROG b450-f ?

trying to update my bios which i have not done ever, got the pc in late 2018 so bio is out of date

put the update on a usb, go into bios but when i try find the file the USB device just isn't showing up when i try to update, used different usb slots but no luck.

any help would be apreciated

Is your flash drive formated to a fat32 file system? What is your mobo make and model?
Full system specs?
Why do you want to update bios?

it is not formated to fat32

and i was wanting to because my pc kept turning off for no reason but after a big clean it seems to have fixed itself but have been told its good to update bios now and again, unsure if i should still

Did you even read the instructions on how the update the BIOS?
