Hey guys,

I have a GX Gaming Cavimanus Headset 7.1 usb. I have the newest drivers off of the product website. I currently am running windows 7 professional 64 bit build 7601. I have a Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P motherboard with AMD Phenom II x3 720 processor 2.8 ghz.

I also have drivers installed for Logitech G930 headsets and the motherboard audio drivers for speakers Realtek High Definition Audio.

The problem I am having is only with these headsets, not with my G930s. Everyone can hear me clearly on the GX headsets but the microphone pics up noise from EVERYTHING! Like if I am playing a game or music or anything in the room or living room, everyone hears it over my voice. I have read this is due to the USB PNP SOUND DEVICE drivers and windows 7 and may not be the headsets. In my sound properties under playback and recording I have the following selected:

PLAYBACK - Speakers checked for USB PNP Sound device only selected
Properties for speakers volume is off for microphone and volume control at 100
Advanced tab is at 16bit 44100 Hz and both exclusive mode boxes checked

RECORDING - Microphone USB PNP Sound Device only selected
Properties for Recording under listen tab - Listen to this device not checked
Playback through this device is set to default
Power management is continue running on battery power
custom microphone boost off
microphone level is at 16 atm but that changes
Advanced default format set to 2 channel 16 bitt 44100 Hz
Exclusive mode both checked

would appreciate any help. This is very frustrating as I can not have any volume in my headsets when using skype or ventrillo.
