[SOLVED] USB Port Not working

So I’m building a gaming pc, I am waiting on my processor and graphics card still, but I did power of my pc to make sure the lights where all hooked up and correct, I figured I’d try out the the front USB ports so I plugged in my phone and mouse they did not turn in does this have anything to do with my cpu not being in yet? The back usbs do not work either.

You will need a processor, cooler and ram along with a monitor to really do anything.
If your motherboard has integrated graphics you do not need the graphics card to test.
I would prepare a memtest86 usb bootable stick and use that as your first full test of functionality.
On some motherboards, the usb3 ports may need a driver before they can be used.
